Positive: A lovely, peaceful house, the balcony was our favourite space to lounge and we ate breakfast outside everyday. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here to anyone who is happy with basic amenities and local living. The property is well-equipped and there's a really helpful book with recommended places to eat and visit in the area. Kenrick was super helpful - as was Ian. We enjoyed bananas from the garden and interacting with the local community as they passed the house on the path that runs alongside it. We highly recommend De Garage 'Jukebox Wednesdays' for karaoke, great food and vibes and rum!
Negative: The only issue with our stay was that we had initially booked 6 nights on booking.com, but were contacted by the host to inform us another booking on a different platform meant we could only stay for 4. Jacob was very kind and gave us a 10% discount because of the inconvenience which we appreciated.

Positive: - a lot of public transportation in proximity - Chapel St. is close - A lot of basics were there: dish washing liquid and dishwasher tabs, washing machine powder, toilet paper, salt, pepper, sugar, oil, a selection of tee and coffee (unfortunately wrong capsules for the nespresso vertuo machine, but you can just buy your own) - There is a small supermarket reachable via a short walk. The bigger Aldi is a little further away.
Negative: - initially smokey smell but went away permanently after airing the appartment - the cleanliness of the bath tub/shower could be improved - it also needs needs new seals on the edges - there are multiple key lock boxes, it took some time to find the right one - the large plates are too large for the dish washer (put them in flat) - the road is loud, but double glassing makes the appartment rather quiet - we could not figure out, how to operate the 2nd air conditioning - wrong remote?
Summary: Ok appartment.

Positive: Location was great in terms of access to public transport. It's also an easy walk to parks and the beach. It was great to have on site car parking. The unit was roomy. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms which really suited us. It's on a busy road so we expected it to be a bit noisy, but the double windows block a heap of that out. Internet worked great. Inside it felt very secure and we had no concerns at all with neighbours or residents.
Negative: Key lock box code we received was wrong so we had to phone to find out, and there were multiple lock boxes so we had to try every one because we didn't know which was ours . We got sorted in the end though. The unit was tired, and really does need a dolly up. It also needs a deep clean. It would be good to have a dryer although we made do with the clothes horse that was provided. The plug in the kitchen sink was wrong size so just didn't work making washing dishes tricky. The basics like salt and pepper assumed a two night stay. We were there for nine nights so just having actual salt and pepper shakers, tea and coffee would have been good. We couldn't get the aircon to work properly. And there was no facility to stream to the TV so we were stuck with aerial channels. BUT in saying all of that, these are things that could probably be fixed quite easily and we would stay there again, knowing what we were getting.
Summary: Great location for transport. Car park is a bonus. Is a bit tired BUT we would stay again.

Positive: The manager was very hospitable and reliable, he even brought us some eggs that we could cook for breakfast and even asked if there was anything else that he could bring for us. It was greatly appreciated.
Negative: The stove did stop working on us in the middle of cooking dinner so we ended up just finishing up in the oven. But the manager did rush over to try to help us with the stove when we called to let him know what happened... Could also use a microwave.
Summary: Great view and very relaxing, enjoyed every minute of it.
